Physical therapy after surgery has been proven to speed healing and decrease pain and inflammation.  Just as humans would receive physical therapy after similar surgeries, our pets deserve the same care and attention we would expect for ourselves.  We can help to increase muscle strength, improve joint mobililty, limit scar tissue and decrease recovery time.  Patients that are overweight, deconditioned or suffering from arthritis and in need of pain management may benefit from rehabilitation as well.
