Water Therapy

Our underwater treadmill is specifically designed to provide buoyancy while allowing your pet to exercise comfortably.  Active movements with water resistance can help to increase strength with minimal stress on the joints.  The circulating water is also kept at a warm temperature which can be very soothing for your pet.

Water therapy can beneficial for the following conditions:

• Orthopedic issues – following injury or surgery
• Neurological issues – post op IVDD (intervertebral disc disease), FCE (fibrocartilagenous embolism), DM (degenerative myelopathy)
• Conditioning
• Weight loss

**Patients must be continent of bowel/bladder function in order to do water therapy.
